JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- Lindsey Wilson College junior Nicole Furnish earned NAIA All-American honors today at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships.

Furnish finished fifth in the women's 3,000 meter race walk with a time of 14 minutes and 44.13 seconds. Furnish earned the first two Lindsey Wilson points of the national championship with her finish.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Four Lindsey Wilson College race walkers ranked in the top 10 nationally lead a pack of five Blue Raider competitors at the 2010 NAIA Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championships, starting on Thursday in Johnson City, Tenn., at the Memorial Center Mini Dome.

Junior Nicole Furnish leads the race walkers with a No. 2 national ranking earned by a qualifying time of 14 minutes and 43.24 seconds in the 3,000-meter event. Senior Amanda Johnson ranks seventh with a time of 15:40.24, while junior Chelsea Conway rounds out the group at No. 9 with a qualifying mark of 16:23.24.

GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's indoor track & field team posted 17 points to finish in 10th place at the 2010 DePauw Indoor Classic on Saturday at Hollensteiner Track.

Kristina Wimsatt posted the top finish for the Blue Raiders, placing third in the long jump with a leap of 5.21 meters to earn six team points. The senior also finished eighth in the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.66 seconds and 12th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.94 seconds.

GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- Lindsey Wilson College senior Kristina Wimsatt set a program record and scored in a pair of events to help the women's indoor track & field team finished 12th at the DePauw (Ind.) University Invitational on Saturday at the Hollensteiner Track.

Wimsatt had a near-perfect day in the long jump. She won the event while setting a program record and qualifying for the NAIA Indoor National Championships in March in Johnson City, Tenn.

CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's indoor track and field team opened its season at the Cedarville (Ohio) University Indoor Invitational on Friday.

A trio of Blue Raiders qualified for the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships with their showings at the event. Senior Amanda Johnson, junior Megan Furnish and freshman Chelsea Conway all qualified for nationals in the 3,000 meter race walk.
