Trina Slapeka was named First Team NAIA All-America after leading women's tennis to a 16-5 record.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Trina Slapeka and Jessica Weyreuter from the Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team were each named 2010 NAIA Women's Tennis First Team All-Americans, the national office announced on Saturday.

The selections were made by the NAIA Women's Tennis Tournament Committee.

MOBILE, Ala. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team's season ended today with a 5-0 loss to No. 3-seed Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) University in the NAIA National Championships at the Mobile Tennis Center.

The Blue Raiders close the 2010 season with 16-5 record.

MOBILE, Ala. -- Trina Slapeka and Jessica Weyreuter accounted for three points with a pair of singles victories and an 8-4 doubles win to help the Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team beat Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) University 6-3 in the first round of the NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship on Tuesday at the Mobile Tennis Center.

Slapeka and Weyreuter earned their win at No. 1 doubles against Erica Engelbrecht and Taylor Stephens, while the second-seeded pair of Slavica Milanovic and Agnieszka Wojtowicz earned another point for the Blue Raiders with a 8-1 win against Claudia Voicu and Ashlan Allison.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the bracket for the NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship on Tuesday and Lindsey Wilson College opens play against Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) University at 9 a.m. CT on Tuesday, May 18.

The national championship begins on May 18 and lasts through May 22 at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala. The championship is hosted by the Mobile Tennis Center, Spring Hill (Ala.) College and the University of (Ala.) Mobile.

GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team beat host Georgetown (Ky.) College 5-2 to win the Unaffiliated Tournament championship today at the Lackey Tennis Center.

The Blue Raiders (15-4) earn a berth into the NAIA National Tournament May 18-22 at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala.
