LONDON, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team improved by 20 strokes on day two of the Bill Sargent Invitational hosted by University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) at the Crooked Creek Golf Club to shoot a 286 and finish second after leaving the clubhouse in seventh place on Thursday night.
Lindsey Wilson turned in 306 strokes on Thursday, putting them far off the lead, before Nicolas Navarro energized the team with a 69 on Friday to help give the Blue Raider their big push.

The Blue Raiders shot a team-total of 306 to trail leader Walters State (Tenn.) Junior College (295) by 11 strokes. Lee (Tenn.) University is third following a 297 and host Cumberlands is third with a 299.
CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- It's two-for-two for the Lindsey Wilson College men's golf program as the Blue Raiders secured their second straight President's Cup win today at Campbellsville Country Club.
The Blue Raiders defeated host Campbellsville (Ky.) University 10 1/2 to 4 1/2 in the Ryder Cup-like matches. Lindsey Wilson also claimed the team stroke play event with a two-day total of 586 (300-286). Campbellsville fired a 597 (300-297).

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- A pair of Lindsey Wilson College men's golfers and a former Blue Raider finished in the top-10 at the Riverview Invitational at the Golf Course at Riverview on Sunday.
Rising sophomore Antonio Arriola (66-72) captured the amateur event with a six-under par 138 over the two-day event. Arriola defeated the Bowling Green Amateur champion John Kirby by one shot and teammate and rising senior Joe Hood -- who tied for third -- by three shots.
