CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College bowling team started strong in team competition at the Green River Classic, but lost ground in the Baker games to finish seventh on Saturday, Oct. 3.

Senior Josh Curtsinger led the way for the Blue Raiders, finishing 18th overall.

"We just weren't focused in Campbellsville," said Lindsey Wilson coach Mike Mantooth. "We didn't do a good job of giving ourselves a chance after picking up a spare."

Mantooth said the squad was already looking forward to its next tournament.

"We have a couple of weeks off until our next tournament," said Mantooth. "A lot of top teams are in the field, our guys are looking forward to facing the toughest competition of the season."

The two-day Black & Orange Classic starts on Oct. 17 in Beavercreek, Ohio.
